
Cashew Milk

This great dairy milk alternative is quick, easy and
delicious! Enjoy this milk in your smoothies, alone, or
add some cacao powder to make a chocolate
milk alternative!
Ingredients
- ½ cup raw cashews
- ½ cup hemp seeds
- 4 cups of filtered water
- ¼ tsp. Stevia
- 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together
- in a high speed blender.
- Store in a glass jar in
- the refrigerator.
Notes
- Magnesium is vital for strong bones. Just a handful (1/4 cup) of cashews provides 25% of the daily recommended value of magnesium. This recipe has double that amount! Also, the hemp seeds provide a complete protein and a balanced ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
