My daughter just jumped. I remember the day as if it were yesterday.
She jumped wholeheartedly into the vast blue ocean loaded down with scuba gear. She wobbled up to the edge of the boat and looked down into the swirling water. She was more confident in her abilities than her experience should have dictated, truly joyful about the adventure. I marveled at the fact that she was excited at the possibility of just ‘trying it.’
She learned a lot on that first jump.
Next time, she’ll be even better.

I replayed that scene in my head all day and realized she had reminded me of something very important. FAITH. Sometimes all that’s needed to jump is a belief in yourself. Those kinds of jumps come from your gut. No one else can tell you to jump until you are ready.
I recently launched a VIP Mentorship program to help women create a life with more purpose and passion. I believe that if you live out your calling, develop a good plan to sustain it and support it with the right people around you, then the money, the freedom, and the flexibility to live life on your own terms will fall into place.
I have spent hours talking to women and so many are afraid to jump and follow their dreams.
I have been there.
I know that voice that comes from deep within our core telling us we aren’t good enough.

It can happen when you least expect it.
The voice shakes our foundation and waves doubt like a white flag of surrender. It makes my heart hurt just thinking about it. I remember all too well how exhausting life is when you live your life feeling like you aren’t worthy.
So many women think nothing of taking a friend to dinner after a long day but wouldn’t get themselves a massage after a long day. We happily pay for summer camps to help our children learn how to better enjoy their interests but think twice about spending money on something that would help our own.
For years, that is how I lived.
It wasn’t until I stepped boldly into my purpose that my life began to change and I found a peace
beyond success.

In order to step into our purpose, we have to step out from behind the fears and insecurities that hold us back. If you don’t believe in yourself, who else will?
Your mind will believe whatever you tell it. So fuel it with positive thoughts. For me, reading is a
great way to center my mind. I love inspirational authors like Lisa Bevere.
Another way to strengthen your attitude is to fuel your body with proper nutrients that will fuel
your mind so that you can become more creative and open to what life has to offer.
Vitamin B is known as the beauty and happy vitamin. A few foods that supply a natural source of Vitamin B include kidney beans, almonds, avocado, cauliflower, chicken, greens, and Tuna. Adding these to your diet can not only help you feel better but look better too! Vitamin B7, specifically, has biotin in it that is great for hair and skin.
You have to stop letting the world define who you are. Think about how many times you have done something or, worse, didn’t do something because you were worried about what other people would think of you?
The reality is you can not control what someone else thinks of you. More than that, studies show that we regularly overestimate how much and how badly others think about us. So all of that stress and anxiety is usually for nothing.
Think how much more abundant and joyful your life would be if you surrounded yourself with positive people who only want the best for you. Think about how much less stress you would feel if you stopped apologizing for who you are.
